Melanie Calderwood/ Florence Foster Jenkins
Welcome back!   Melanie has been doing theater for about 300 years, or maybe it just seems that way, and Hollywood has yet to call.  She did get a part in Z Nation but the part was cut before rehearsals began.  When not on the stage she is a nurse, or tries to act like one, at Evergreen Health Care.  She lives with an extended family consisting of 3 Pygmy goats, 3 dogs and 2 cats.  All of them are more talented than Melanie.  Smucket, the goat is a published author and Sadie the dog is an actress.  The rest are really cute. Although they are glad that she has a hobby, after seeing her sing and dance to Dua Lipa, they strongly suggest that she stay away from musical theater.  They send their love to their favorite lunch partner, Aunt Susan Connors, who can actually sing and dance.

Susan Connors/Dorothy
A regular here, Phoenix audiences may remember her recently in her second go-round as the germ-a-phone Aunt in
Dashing through the Snow, Mama Won't Fly, Wild Women of Winedale, & numerous others over the past 15 seasons. She has also appeared locally with Woodinville Rep, Ballyhooo, Twelfth Night,  Red Curtain, Eclectic Theatre, Seattle Children’s Theatre, Bathhouse Theatre, and Tacoma Actors Guild among others. Although her TV credits age her, she confesses to appearances in Archie Bunker’s Place, Mrs. Columbo and Northern Exposure. She is a regular performer with the nationally syndicated radio drama series Imagination Theatre.

James Lynch/ Cosme McMoon
James Lynch is beyond thrilled to be back at the Phoenix with such a fun and musical show! James was recently seen on the Phoenix stage as Professor Plum in "Clue". Other past Phoenix credits include "Skin Flick", "Mama Won't Fly", "Inspecting Carol" and "The Miser" amongst many others. Off stage James' personal favorite recent achievement is reading the last 6-8 years worth of Thor comics in a 3 month period. He thanks his wife for all her love and patience.

Jay Jenkins/St. Clair
Jay Jenkins (St. Clair) is always happy to be back at The Phoenix. He was last seen in Miracle on 34th Street at Red Curtain in Marysville. He also filmed a movie, Mask of Death. As always thanks and love to Denise, James and Joe.

Laura Knight/ Marie
Laura Knight (Marie) is thrilled to be making her debut at Phoenix Theatre, and using her eight years of French studies for something fun!  Favorite past credits include Maggie/Coach in Bloomer Girls, Caroline Bingley in Pride and Prejudice, Duchess Fredrick/Audrey in As You Like It, Helen in Scrooge the Musical, and Featured Siren in The Odyssey.  Merci aux acteurs et à l'équipe, ainsi qu'à ma famille. Allons enterrer le caniche!

Nicola Amos/Mrs. Verrinder-Gedge
Nicola Amos is honored to be back at The Phoenix Theatre (Twist of the Magi and Dashing Through the Snow) in Glorious! Previous highlights include Deathtrap, Brighton Beach Memoirs, and 12 Angry Jurors (SecondStory Rep), Jake's Women (Mount Baker Theatre Summer Rep), An Inspector Calls and To Kill a Mockingbird (Driftwood Players), and Othello (Kern Shakespeare Festival). T.V.and voice-over credits include The X-Files, Secret Lives, Silent Mobius, and Sabrina: The Animated Series. Nicola would like to thank the fabulous Glorious! cast and creative team, and her family.

Eric Lewis/Director
Eric has been directing for nigh upon 40 + years. It has been his great delight to be associated with the Phoenix Theater for the last decade, where he has directed Fuddy Meers, Kimberly Akimbo, Bright Idea’s, The Golden State, The Miser, The Last Romance, The Underpants, and Beyond Therapy, among many others. But he is proudest of his gaming teen daughter, Olivia. He would like to thank his wife Vicki for her encouragement and understanding. And Melanie Calderwood for once again giving him the opportunity to pursue his passion and craft.

Renée Gilbert/ Assistant Director

This is Renée’s 2nd show as assistant director with Eric Lewis. She directed the Christmas show this season on her own and is set to direct yet another show next season. She is very grateful to Eric and Mel for giving her the opportunity and the guidance to direct. She really loves it! She also loves performing and hopes to be seen on stage next season. She would like to thank each and every one of you for coming to see this very special show. She hopes that Florence is as inspiring to you as she is to her. You cannot put a price tag on living your dream. Much love to you all!

Craig Marshall/Technical Director, Set Design & Construction

Craig spent several years as a chef before becoming a stay-home dad. It is wholly due to his sons’ interest in music and theatre that he came to appreciate and get involved behind the scenes. When not in the theatre, Craig enjoys travelling abroad, going to baseball games, trying new foods, and spending time with his family and trio of black cats. Fun fact: For a stint in the early 90’s Craig worked in a travelling carnival.

Robert Quick/Stage Manager

Robert is thrilled to be back stage managing another show at Phoenix. He recently just finished Assistant stage-managing Curious Incident of the dog in the night time at Red curtain Foundation. When he is not stage-managing, you may have seen Robert on stage as an actor at Driftwood. Past shows there have included Its A wonderful life: a live radio show (foley artist) and Sherlock Holmes and the case of the Jersey Lily (Abdul Karim). He would like to thank the incredible cast and crew as well as friends and family for their support over the years. Ole!

Elizabeth A Shipman/Costumer

Wigs, Wings and Glorious bling, that's costumes at the Phoenix Theatre. Some of Elizabeth's favorite work here has been doing disco princesses in The Miser, and the tacky brides & preachers in Mama won't Fly. This show she is training a new intern.
Thank you Michael for all your support.
